Praise for Alphamals: A-Z

Elegant, sophisticated digital illustrations combine alphabet letters with animal shapes in an art deco style that creates posterlike images. Complementing the artwork is the color palette filled with fancy shades from the more exotic reaches of an extra-large box of crayons.
—Kirkus Reviews

Poetry and a smidgen of science combine for an effective alphabet picture book...A solid purchase, best used as a one-a-day exploration along with other subject-specific materials.
—School Library Journal

This A to Z overview of the world’s animals is an absorbing panoply, ranging from common types like the bumblebee and fox to the exotic quoll (an Australian catlike creature) and the X-ray tetra (a translucent Amazonian fish). While there are abecedarians of animals galore, this one stands out due to its winning combination of facts, poetic language, and illustrations...This striking book invites multiple viewings.
