LASIK: A Color Atlas and Surgical Synopsis is the best collection of clinical photos, with the best schematics of LASIK and lamellar surgery available. This exciting new book contains the most comprehensive collection of high quality images, covering all aspects of LASIK. The photographs include color schematics describing the evolution of LASIK and new modifications of lamellar surgical techniques, preoperative risk factors for LASIK, intraoperative LASIK complications, postoperative LASIK complications, all of the excimer lasers and microkeratomes currently available, and wavefront technology. There is also an excellent collection of normal and abnormal preoperative and postoperative topographies from both the Humphrey and the Orbscan topographers.

LASIK: A Color Atlas and Surgical Synopsis is not just a color atlas. Each image has accompanying text that describes all of the important details shown in each picture in a systematic format, making the text easily assimilated. The text provides a detailed explanation of the pictures as well as a discussion of the relevance of the topic to refractive surgery and LASIK.

There are over 275 high quality color photographs of top-quality material from the authors collections and from contributors from around the world. The text contained throughout the book makes this a stand-alone surgical synopsis on LASIK.
