About the Author

K. Duane Carter is a pediatrician, a husband, and a father of 13 children, 12 of whom are adopted internationally. He has written medical and health articles and is currently working on a novel, but his first love of writing is poetry. He has written multiple volumes of poetry since he was 15 years old. He resides with his family, his basset hound, and his dachshund in Northern California.
