Description

Over the last twenty years, the autor has written a weekly column for the Anton Community Newspapers on Long Island and every once in a while for Newsday, The New York Times, and Florida's Charlotte Sun. Mixed with a little of the author's personal philosophy, the columns have expressed views on topics ranging from an experience with Marilyn Monroe in Korea to a personal interview with Hillary Clinton and from a private meeting with President Dwight David Eisenhower to Vietnam and Iraq. Having served in various capacities with national leaders, including three Presidents (Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush), United States Senator Kenneth B. Keating, at the start of the Cuban Missile Crisis, and as the first and only non-physician to participate on the Board of the American Medical Association, the author has presented his experiences in a way to record history and provide a legacy for friends and family. The author has also been able to draw upon, in writing these pieces, experiences in campaigning for the United States Senate against Daniel Patrick Moynihan and as a Corporate Officer for a Fortune 200 Company, Avon Products, Inc.
