OMG.. I was in the Charlotte airport watching that game waiting for my connection..and I have to admit at the time I wasn't really sure who I wanted to win that game. I knew the NYYs would be the easier team to beat and I was terrified on CLE pitching staff, but I also had no desire to face them again in the ALCS.
When Joba began to fall apart and the last out was called, there was nothing sweeter than watching Yankees fans cry and then scamper away with their heads down. Ok, well maybe almost nothing sweeter, Manny *did* hit the ALDS winning homer later that night in the bottom of the ninth to sweep the ANA.
Finally the world has begun to right itself.
